Notre pronostic

C'est la bouteille à l'encre dans ce gros handicap sur le steeple, labellisé Groupe II. Hormis une chute en novembre dernier ici-même, Jordans Cross n'est jamais sorti des deux premiers et a prouvé sa forme en dernier lieu. Il monte de catégorie ce jeudi mais c'est un vrai cheval pour ce genre de tournois où il faut être très dur. L'un des favoris des books, c'est un candidat à la victoire.
Sur la montante et idéalement placé en bas de tableau, The Bluesman a le profil pour jouer un très bon rôle à ce niveau et conduira donc l'opposition en compagnie de Slade Steel, qui avait gagné le Supreme Novice's Hurdle (Groupe I) par le passé sur cette piste. Il a depuis connu quelques ennuis mais semble revenir bien, c'est donc une bonne possibilité pour le podium comme Sixmilebridge, qui sera très chargé mais enchaîne les victoires actuellement, Regent's Stroll, super sauteur sur qui on peut toujours compter ainsi que Meetmebythesea, encore tendre mais dont l'avenir se situe dans ce genre de gros handicaps. Certainement la meilleure chance de l'écurie Mc Manus, il visera un accessit. Sur ce qu'il a fait de mieux, King Alexander a le droit de surprendre comme Kdeux Saint Fray, à suivre en bas de tableau.
