The slightly shorter trip could do the trick with top rider Aldo Domeyer in the irons from gate No 1. FERRYMAN won his maiden in style and could get better with time. IN MOTION needed his run back after a break and the step up in trip should bring out further improvement. CAPTAINS ALLIANCE is capable of better. He has dropped further in the ratings and could be a dark horse from stall No 1.
