Western Cape form has been standing up well of late and RED DAWN could be the next runner from Candice Bass's yard to make an impressive KZN debut. He wasn't beaten far in his penultimate race which is proving to be a decent formline and last time battled a wide draw. SLYTHERIN wasn't dangerous even though coming in for support last time but he was dropping in distance. Expect a better run over a distance he has won. HEAVEN'S WILL has been staying on in his races and perhaps could be suited to the 1600m. PONGOLA and TWOCANTANGO have form but wide draws to overcome.
